The next set of equipment needed would be a saddle; this benefits both the rider and the horse. A comfortable saddle is needed for the horses back and for you to sit on. This needs to be comfortable for enjoyment reasons when riding your horse and also very importantly, for safety. There are quite a few different types of saddles available and each is designed for a specific type of rider and riding style. Also, the wrong saddle can sometimes cause the rider to fall and become seriously injured. Along with the saddle you have to have a bridle, to direct the horse when riding it.

You will need a whole host of grooming equipment, supplements, food, coats etc. for your horse. The list will be never ending but once you are stocked up on certain thing such as food and hay then this will be quite a large task completed. Horses hooves are an important part to make sure are kept in check. This need to be kept painted or oiled and also making sure that the correct horse shoes are fitted. The comfort of your beloved animal is very important, as the owner you are in charge of caring for them and making sure they are happy. With enough effort and hard work you get the enjoyment back of riding off on your horse that looks good but who is also content. Each piece of equipment also has its own purpose and use, too. You have a number of different options to choose from, so being armed with the right information beforehand is very important.

Choosing the right equipment and supplies is difficult. It doesn't matter if you plan on riding a horse on your own property or down common trails, you need to proper equipment. A horse that will be entering shows will require different supplies than a horse that is only going to be a pet or companion. For every reason someone has a horse, there are equipment and supplies to go along.

Hands-on with Archos' Titanium tablet line (video)

Archos' Platinum line of tablets already got the hands-on treatment from us earlier this week, but today we stopped by Archos' CES 2013 booth one more time to take a look at the similarly named Titanium line. Sadly, the smallest of the quartet wasn't available on the show floor, but we did get a look at the other three tablets on hand, ranging from 8 inches to 10.1. All three feature the same set of internal hardware: a dual-core 1.6GHz Rockchip CPU and an unnamed quad-core GPU. The pre-production units we handled were running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and all feature high-res IPS screens.

The 9.7-incher has the highest-res of all, at 2,048 x 1,536 resolution -- and it really shows. Images on that "super high-res" screen looked dramatically nicer than the other two, though the build quality on the 8-inch and 10.1-inch models is noticeably more solid. To be extra clear, the rear on the latter two is a solid metal, while the 9.7-inch is a cheap-feeling plastic. The ports on all three devices looked a bit on the rough side as well -- the mini-HDMI out looked cocked in its port, even. This could of course just be a measure of its display use at CES, but the fact that the port traveled in its slot worried us for sure.

In terms of software, the tablets were able to quickly transition from app to app, and games loaded quickly -- we couldn't check its internet capabilities, as WiFi in the Las Vegas Convention Center is less than ideal at the moment. While the hardware wasn't what we'd call top quality, the low price point and performance of the Titanium line more than makes up for it. Venezuela top court OKs postponing Chavez inauguration

Venezuela's top court endorsed the postponement of Hugo Chavez's inauguration this week and ruled on Wednesday that the cancer-stricken president remained the South American OPEC nation's leader.

The 58-year-old socialist has not been seen in public nor heard from in almost a month following surgery in Cuba. The government says he is in a delicate condition and cannot attend Thursday's scheduled swearing-in for a new six-year term.

"Right now we cannot say when, how or where the president will be sworn in," Supreme Court Chief Judge Luisa Morales told a news conference.

"As president re-elect there is no interruption of performance of duties ... The inauguration can be carried out at a later date before the Supreme Court."

Both Chavez and his heir apparent, Vice President Nicolas Maduro, would remain in the roles after Jan. 10, she added in a judgment quashing opposition appeals for a caretaker president to be named.

Government leaders insist Chavez is fulfilling his duties as head of state, even though official medical bulletins said he suffered multiple complications after the surgery, including a severe pulmonary infection, and has had trouble breathing.

It was his fourth operation since being diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer in June 2011.

The government has called for a massive rally outside the presidential palace on Thursday, and allied presidents including Uruguay's Jose Mujica and Bolivia's Evo Morales have confirmed they will visit Venezuela that day despite Chavez's absence.

The president's resignation or death would upend politics in the oil-rich nation, where he is revered by poor supporters thankful for his social largesse.

His critics denounce him as an autocrat who has squandered billions of dollars from crude sales while dashing the independence of state institutions.

Everyone has their own limitations and reasons to buy their own watercraft. Now, in many previous articles we have talked about speed boats, yachts, pleasure boats etc. but in this one we will focus only on small wooden fishing boat and its need to have boat insurance.

Imagine a simple scenario that you have completed building and decorating your watercraft after a tiresome wooden work of many days to months. Your watercraft is ready for going out there on water and helps you in fishing. Green Blog: Hands Off, Oil Industry Warns Government

Jack Gerard, the often-combative chief executive of the American Petroleum Institute, said Tuesday that the United States was ?at the crossroads of a great turning point? in the nation?s energy history.

As long as Congress and the Obama administration don?t mess it up, he warned.

In a broad-gauge speech in Washington on the state of the American oil and gas industry, Mr. Gerard said that because of new petroleum finds and new drilling techniques ? chiefly directional drilling and hydraulic fracturing in shale formations ? the United States could become the world?s leading energy producer.

?North America could become self-sufficient in liquid fuels in roughly 12 years,? Mr. Gerard said, citing figures from the International Energy Agency. ?And as a potential energy exporter, we can help bring greater stability to the geopolitics of energy, to say nothing of the positive impacts increased U.S. supply would have for U.S. businesses, workers and consumers.?

But he cautioned that this rosy future was dependent on the federal government?s not interfering with his industry, by, say, raising taxes on oil companies, or imposing new environmental regulations on fracking operations, or limiting greenhouse gas emissions from refineries.

?The most important thing is to do no harm,? Mr. Gerard said in a question-and-answer period after his speech. ?Don?t overreact and do anything that would impede or discourage what we see going forward state by state today.?

He said that North Dakota, Texas and Pennsylvania had seen a huge boom in job creation and economic activity tied to drilling operations on private lands in recent years, while exploration on federal lands and waters has been stagnant or falling. He attributed the discrepancy to more business-friendly regulatory and tax policies at the state level, and he encouraged Congress and federal regulators to follow the lead of officials in state capitals.

He urged the Obama administration to open more federal land and water to drilling, but said that this did not have to include national parks and environmentally sensitive areas.

Mr. Gerard bristled at a suggestion that major oil companies benefit from billions of dollars in tax subsidies,? saying that the Obama administration?s assertion that the industry enjoys $4 billion in unnecessary tax breaks is a ?myth.?

?The oil and gas industry gets no subsidies, zero, nothing,? he said. ?We get cost-recovery benefits, much like other industries. You can go down the road of allowing economic activity, generating hundreds of billions to the government, or you can take the alternative route by trying to extract new revenue from industry by increasing their cost to do business.?

He added, ?We not only pay our fair share, we pay more than our fair share.?
